      James Jackman was admitted to Newbury church in 1683 and Rachel Jackman in 1697.

      April 14, 1718 James Jackman and Rachel Jackman were among the heirs of Rev. Nicholas Noyes of Salem who appointed Cutting Noyes and James Noyes attorneys to sell real estate etc. (ED 33:218)

      I suppose that he was the Serg James Jackman who had command of the forces under Lt. Coll Thomas Noyes 15 July 1707 (Reg. 1-341)
