- Nathaniel and Mary were Rowley members, living near the Newbury line. Nathaniel settled in New Casco, now Falmouth, and served in the Revolution in Capt. James Merrill's Co. for the fortification of Falmouth, and in Capt. William Cobb's Co. in 1779 for the Penobscot Expedition (MS&S 11 : 554). He was a substantial land owner in No. Yarmouth and Freeport.
