Notes:
The Marana Regional Veterans Cemetery was developed by the Town of Marana and was dedicated on 26 March 2016. To launch the project, the John Kai Family donated 32 acres for the site. The Arizona Department of Veterans Services awarded a $7.6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for the construction; this cemetery is the 100th state veterans cemetery nationwide to be built under this veterans cemetery grants program. The initial phase of construction was the easternmost 7-10 acres and includes in-ground burials, a maintenance building, assembly area, committal shelter, and a parking lot. The cemetery is expected to have a 50-year operating life.

Directions: Exit Interstate-10 at Exit 236 toward Marana Road, turn left onto N. Sandario Road and travel south one block on Sandario Road. Turn right (west) onto W. Marana Road. Travel west 3.1 miles to N. Luckett Road, then drive 1.9 miles to the cemetery.
