    • Anthony Gwynn was one of those who subscribed to the funds for the building of St. Paul's Church. He was a vestry man of that church 1749-1750, 1753. He was one of the signers of the letter Feb 3, 1741/42 desiring Matthew Plant to be minister of St. Paul's Church. He contributed 30li 9s 4d towards the purchase of an organ for this church in 1756.

      Signed petition for a new town in 1762.
