- Born February 16, 1852 on the farm which he now cultivates. He obtained his education at the Union School and Wayland Academy of Beaver Dam. He was married August 25, 1873, to FAnnie Sunderland, a native of England, and for four years farmed a small place one and one-half miles east of the city of Beaver Dam. In 1877 he moved onto the farm on which he first saw the light, and where he still lives. Mr. Noyes is and always has been a Republican in politics, has taken great interest in school matters in the city of Beaver Dam, and is now serving the twelfth year as school commissioner of his ward. He has also served as alderman, but the duties as such are not as much to his liking as those connected with the schools.
