Matthew & Mary Noyes She was admired for her talents and beloved for her virtues and met death with serenity and Christian resignation, cheerfully relinquishing her brightest earthly propects in hope of a glorious resurrection. June the 19th 1816 aged 20.

SACRED to the memory of the Rev. MATTHEW NOYES A member of the Corporation of Yale College & 45 years Pastor of the Congregational Church in this place. A sound and well dis- ciplined mind tog- ether with great pr- udence & exemplary piety qualified him for the arduous & important duties of his office. He was a good counsellor, a faithful minister & died in the faith of JESUS, much lamented by those who knew him Sept. 25, 1839. Æt. 76. MARY, daughter of Rev. Stephen & Mary JOHNSON & wife of REV. MATTHEW NOYES died Sept. 1, 1851 Æ 83.
