- (Miss Essie Mae Peevey became the bride of Mr. Prentiss Luke on November 7th at 4 o'clock at the home of Rev. H.L. Walker, pastor of the Center Terrace Baptist Church.
The bride wore a brown and blue ensemble and carried a corsage of tube roses. Her only attendant was Mrs. Wallace Everett.
