      Also the payroll of John Eastman's company in Col. Thomas Bartlett's regiment of militia raised in the State of New Hampshire for the defense of the country in 1780, and which were stationed at West Point, shows "Job Kent, Ensign, entered June 28, 1780; discharged Oct. 24, 1780. Time in service three months and twenty six days."
