    Notes
    • "The Noyes Descendants, Vol. I says Pardon W. Case married Catherine, daughter of Joseph & Sarah J. (Stanwood) Noyes; however the Case Bible says Catherine was born 29 May 1818. Newburyport VR say Catherine, daughter of Joseph & Sarah (Stanwood) Noyes, was born 12 May 1812. This six year discrepancy calls into question the identity and parentage of the Catherine Noyes who married Pardon W. Case of Boston.
