- (OBIT: Mrs. Bessie Noyes was born at Rush City, April 24, 1906, and had made her residence in this community all her life. She attended the Rush City Schools, graduating from the Rush City High School.
She was united in marriage to Alanson Noyes in 1937 . To this union born two children, Russell and Royland.
Mrs. Noyes leaves to mourn her unimely passing the two sons above mentioned, her husband, Alanson, her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Norris, one sister, Bernice, and two brothers, Eugene and Henry, and one half brother, James.
Mrs. Noyes passed away at Ah-Gwah-Ching, April 20, 1937. At her death she was 30 years, 11 months, and 27 days of age. Funeral services were held Friday, April 23, at 1 o'clock p.m., from the Chapel in Rush City, Rev H.G. Courtly officiating. Mrs. Leslie Ogren and Mrs. Clayton Moulton, rendered duets, accompanied by Mrs. Paul Ebert. The pallbearers were Arvid Carlson, Sigfred Swanson, Joe Swanson, Jr., George Jaffrey, Leo Bendickson and Henry Bendickson.
Interment was had in the family lot in the Indian Cemetery near Randall, Wisconsin. The Chapel was filled with friends, relatives and neighbors of the deceased. The floral tributes were many and beautiful.)
