  Notes	He settled in Sweden, Maine and traded at Webber's Corner until 1833, when he moved away. He joined the Maine Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1831 and labored incessantly for some twenty-six years as a clergyman. He represented his town in the Maine legislature two terms, and one term in the state senate.
