    • Isaac was a carpenter as well as doing other things such as painting. He built a school house in Wilton, Maine about 1814. He later lived in Wilton where he continued his trade. Some winters were spent in various Massachusetts towns where he worked in the mills. There were letters to his children about how they were getting along while he was away.

      There is always a flag on his grave each year. He served in the War of 1812.
