- (OBIT: Charles McCubrey Caribou 84. Died 9-4-1987 at his residence in Caribou after a long illness. He was born in Caribou 3-2-1903 the son of Thomas and Gertrude (Parsons) McCubrey. He attended Caribou schools and the Caribou United Baptist Church. He was a lifelong resident and farmer on the East Presque Isle Road in Caribou. He married Emmie (Smith) McCubrey 9-15-1926. Surviving besides his wife of Caribou are a son, Gerald of Caribou, 2 brothers, Gerald of Holliday, FLA. and P. Kenton McCubrey of Largo, FLA., 3 grandsons, Quentin of Pilot Station, Alaska, Duane and Daryl, both of Caribou, 1 granddaughter, Belinda "Lindy" McCubrey of Epson, NH., 5 great grandchildren. Burial Evergreen cemetery.)
