- (OBIT: Jasper Norsworthy Caribou 72. Died 8-22-1981 in Caribou. He was born in Presque Isle 4-21-1909 the son of William and Annie (Parker) Norsworthy. He attended Maysville and Caribou schools. Until his retirement he was a dispatcher for American Kitchen Foods in Caribou. He was a member of the First Universalist Unitarian Church in Caribou, where he served as sexton for many yrs. He married the former Marion Bowden 1-20-1929. He is survived by his wife of Caribou, 2 sons, Rev. Richard Norsworthy of Woonsocket, RI., and Robert Norsworthy of Loring AFB and Upper Marlboro, MD., 4 daughters, Mrs. Ludger (Marilyn Gay) Jalbert of Caribou, Mrs. Lawrence (Gloria) Blumer of San Antonio, TX., Mrs. Richard (Tessa) Allen of Presque Isle, Mrs. Quentin (Jackie) McCubrey of Emmonak, Alaska, 2 brothers, Albert Norsworthy of Mapleton and Tom Norsworthy of Presque Isle, 3 sisters, Mrs. B.L. (Elva) Dixon of Presque Isle, Mrs Grace Harris of Presque Isle and Mrs. Elton (Annie) Elwell of Presque Isle, 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Burial Evergreen cemetery.)
