Eva A. Noyes
Eva Aline Noyes was born January 28, 1930 in Osborne, KS. She was the seventh child of Milton and Aline Stansberry. The family homestead was located south of Osborne in Hancock Township. She passed away on June 22, 2008 in Osborne.
Eva was a lifelong resident of Osborne where she attended public schools, graduating in 1947.
She married Loren Noyes on October 3, 1948. They were married 45 years. Into this union two sons were born, Larry and (living).
Eva was active in the Osborne Methodist Church, VFW and American Legion Auxiliary and American Cancer Society.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; sisters, Mary and Virginia; brothers, Charles, Milton Jr., Holmes and Calvin Wayne and her parents.
Eva is survived by her sons and wives, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Harper officiating. Music was provided by Jamie Woodley and Paul and Jeannie Gregory.
Casketbearers were Lynn Cooper, Steve Long, Andrew Noyes, Larry Kendig, Duane Muck and Austin Noyes.
Eva was laid to rest at the Osborne Cemetery, Osborne.
Clark Gashaw Mortuary, Inc., was in charge of arrangements.)
