- (Willis and Lucy were married by the pastor of the Free Will Baptist Church, located in Franconia, New Hampshire. Lucy's family were members of the church, who's pastor was N.R. (not K.) George.
The Free Will Baptist Church was organized by a committee from theLisbon church, with forty-eight members, September 20, 1834. Thefirst settled pastor was Rev. N.R. George. Their church building wasbuilt in union with the Congregational society i 1835; in 1882 whenthat society built their new church, the Baptists bought theirinterest and remodeled the building, so that it now will seat 350persons and is valued, including grounds, at $8,000.)
