- (OBIT: Linda Ruth Anderson, died Wednesday. She was 68.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Redmond.
Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 22, 1938, in Caribou, Maine to Vaughn and Regna (Morgan) Todd. She married Carl Anderson on Sept. 25, 1958, in Caribou.
Mrs. Anderson had worked as a county health nurse, emergency medical tecnician and as a medical practicioner for eight years. She also educated caregivers through St. Charles Medical Centers in Bend and Redmond.
Mrs. Anderson served as a parish nurse for Emmaus Lutheran Church in Redmond, where she was also a member. She volunteered in hospice care and enjoyed sewing, knitting and quilting.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Sven, of Salem; two daughters, Paula Owen, of Cloverdale, and Sonya Juthberg, of Hornefors, Sweden; a brother, David Todd, of Ware, Mass.; a sister, Sue Bennett, of Whiting, N.J.; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and three sisters.)
