- Nellie A. as she was known was interested for several years in collecting data of the family, and her valued assistance was appreciated by Horatio N. Noyes in the preparation of his pamphlet, and by the authors of these volumes for much material in the early years of their work. She was a member of the D.A.R., Newburyport Woman's Club, and the Amesbury Bird Club.
