- Served with Co. K, 20th Inf. as a Private. Mustered in August 29, 1862, in Portland, there are no other descriptions listed for Noyes. He was present for duty at all times and was wounded on July 2. He died of his wounds July 4. Civil War records say he was 1st Sergeant at that time.
