    • Age 54 in 1731 when he deposed about Falmouth before 1690, 81 in 1759 when he testified about the attack on the Bracketts in 1689. Taken prisoner at the fall of Casco Fort in 1690 he remained in Canada until July 1700, having for 2 years cut masts for the French navy.

      His father had entered an Eastern Claim for the Topsham land in 1715, and he obtained a grant of 300 acres in 1721 in satisfaction thereof. He had brought ejectment suits against new settlers in 1720.
