    • (OBIT: Zina H. Noyes passed away Saturday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hattie Hennessy. He had been in failing health for several months but was confined to his bed but two days. He was born in Gray 84 years ago and had lived in Topsham since he was seven years of age. He was a stone mason by trade and was in charge of the construction of the foundation of the Town Hall, Brunswick. He was a corporal in Co. A, 24th Maine, enlisting Oct. 11, 1862. On May 27, 1857, he was united in marriage to Miss Catherine M. Curtis of Harpswell, who survives him, also four children, William S., Joseph E., Mrs. Hattie Hennessy, all of Topsham, and Mrs. Florence Sherman of Brunswick. Seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive. He was for years an active member of the Free Baptist church and was also a former member of Topsham Grange. The funeral was private at the home of William Hennessy Tuesday afternoon.)
