    Notes
    • Of Wellingborough, bricklayer, also witnessed his father's second marriage. On 7 June 1716 he took inventory with Abraham Heulings, Jr., on the estate of Samuel Budding of Chester, Burlington County, and on 6 April 1720 he witnessed the will of Manuel Smith of Burlington. His wife was named Elizabeth. [NEHGR]

After marriage they resided in Willingboro Twp. William was a bricklayer and also a farmer. He was the only one of the three brothers who did not sign a 1704 document in which the Quakers expressed opposition to bearing arms. Most of William's children were married by license and not in Quaker meetings. It appears that all of the Fenimores who participated in the Revolutionary War were descendants of William. They may have been members of St. Mary's Church founded in 1702 by George Keith, who directed members toward the Church of England.
