      Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Noyes, 60, wife of Earlon Stillman Noyes, 34 Main Street will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at the Central Universalist Church with the Rev. Barron F. McIntire officiating. Internment will be in Riverside Cemetery.  Mrs. Noyes died Saturday in a Portland hospital.  She was born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, April 12, 1889, the daughter of Thomas and Abigail Gilbert Hobbs-Ley.  She was educated in the St. Thomas schools; and was married January 25, 1911, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  The couple had lived in Yarmouth for six years.  Mrs. Noyes was affiliated with the Central Universalist Church,was a member of Woman’s Alliance of that church, and of the Women of Rotary in Portland. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Curtis R. Low, and Miss Ruth Noyes of Boston; two brothers, Charles Ley of Toronto, and Elmer Ley of California; also two grandchildren.)
