    • (Be it remembered, that I, Mary Knight, of Newbury in the county of Essex and commonwealth of Massachusetts, widdow, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form following.

      1st. I give to Mary Knight, wife of Hale Knight, my [___] and [one silk gown?].

      2nd. I give to Abigail Knight, wife of Charles Knight, my gold necklace, and one silk gown, my second [_ised?] brass kettle, also [seven?] of my [___] chairs, and my largest table, and a bed and bedstead.

      3d. I give to Abigail Hale Knight, daughter of Hale Knight, my best bed and bedsted, and two pair of sheets, marked A.[H.?], and my best quilt.

      4th. I give to Mary C. Knight, daughter of Hale Knight, my best table cloth, and half a dozen of my best napkins, and half a dozen of [line obliterated on microfilm]

      5ly. I give to Edmund Knight, son of Joseph Knight, my watch, and one silver spoon, marked E.K.

      [__] I give to Joseph Knight my share in the library in the first parish in Newbury; also all the hay, that may be left, that belongs to me, at my decease.

      7th. I give to James B. Knight, Edmund Knight and Joseph H. Knight, sons of Joseph Knight, my two cows, if I should leave two.

      8th. I give to Richard Coffin two large silver spoons, marked R.C.

      9th. I give to Joseph Coffin, of Haverhill, one silver spoon, marked [T.M.T.?], and five small tea spoons, marked [T.M.T.?]

      11th. I give to Mary Jane Knight, daughter of Joseph Knight, one silver spoon, [line obliterated on microfilm]

      12th. I give to Lucy Knight, wife of Enoch Knight, and Nancy Knight, wife of Hale Knight, and Abigail Knight, wife of Charles Knight, all my linning and all my woolling things, of every kind, not otherways disposed of in this [___] equally divided betwixt them.

      13th. I give to the above named Nancy Knight and Abigail Knight all my [___] not otherways disposed of, to be equally divided.

      14th. I give to the above named Nancy and Abigail Knight, and to Mary J. Knight, all my crockery, to be equally divided.

      15th. I give to Moses Coffin, of Boscawen, my large Bible.

      16th. I give all the money, and notes of hand, that I may have at my decease, to be equally divided into six shares; one share to Paul Knight; one to Enoch Knight; one to Hale Knight; one to Joseph Knight; one to Charles Knight; and one to the children of the late Jane L. Noyes, late wife of Stephen Noyes; this above division to be made after my executor has paid all my just debts and funeral charges, and for a decent [pare?] of grave stones; and that to be done within three months after my decease.

      17th. I give to Sarah H. Baly my mahogany table.

      18th. I give to Hale Knight and Charles Knight everything, of whatever name or nature soever, not expressed in the above, to be equally divided betwixt them.

      I hereby appoint Hale Knight sole executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this twenty seventh day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty seven.
