  	(OBIT: Annetta Agnes Vipond, age 88, of River Sioux, Iowa passed away in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Sunday, February 12, 2012. Annetta was born September 24, 1923, at Little Sioux, Iowa, the daughter of the late Frank and Vera (Bryan) Smith. She graduated from Little Sioux High School. Annetta married Jack Vipond on November 3, 1942. They were blessed with two daughters and a son. Jack and Annetta farmed in the Little Sioux and Mondamin area. Jack preceded Annetta in death on March 23, 1997. Annetta was a member of the Church of Christ at Little Sioux and served as secretary/treasurer for many years. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper of the family farming and trucking business. Annetta loved the Lord and enjoyed gospel music, flowers, travel, playing cards, reading and her family.She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances McCracken; and brother, Joe Smith.Survivors include her daughters, Dianna Smith, Peggy Pippitt and husband, Roger; son, Timothy Vipond; 5 grandchildren, Gayle and John Wageman, Andrea and Ken Perry, Greg and Jaren Pippitt, Jason Smith, Brad and Julie Vipond; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Fangman; 2 sisters- in-law; nieces and nephews.Visitation with the family Thursday, 4 to 7 p.m., with the funeral service at 7 p.m., at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Pastor Dave Fremstad will officiate. Interment in the Little Sioux, Iowa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Make-A-Wish of Iowa.)
