    • (Know all men by these presents, that I Nabby Noyes of Portland in the County of Cumberland, widow of Moses Noyes late of said Portland deceased in consideration of fifty dollars paid by James Deering of Portland, Esquire, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby remise, release, bargain, sell and convey, and forever quitclaim unto the said James Deering his heirs and assigns forever, all the right, title and interest in and to one eighth part in common undivided of a certain farm formerly called the Back Cove Farm containing one hundred twenty six acres more or less situate in Westbrook now owned by said Deering meaning hereby to release & discharge all my right & claim of dower in and to said one eighth part of said farm.

      To have and to hold the same, together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said James Deering his heirs and assigns, forever. And I do covenant with the said Deering his heirs and assigns, that will warrant and forever defend the premises to I the said him against the lawful claims and demands of all persons claiming by, through, or under me.

      In witness whereof I the said Nabby Noyes have hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three
