  	(OBIT: Mirriam R. Hincks, 89, of 379 Middle Rd., Falmouth, died Monday in a Portland hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Arthur C. Hincks who died in 1934. She was born in Lewisburg, Pa., the daughter of Augustus and Mary (Moyer) Derr. She attended Portland schools and had lived in Portland and Cumberland before moving to Falmouth 60 years ago. She had been a wig maker, employed at Carle's Hair Store and also a domestic. She had been active in the Congregational Church here, serving in the choir for several years. She was a former member of the Grange and the Farm Bureau of Falmouth. She leaves a son, Arthur W. Hincks of Pittsfield; three daughters, Romona D. Leighton of Falmouth, Doris M. Hincks of South Windham and Josephine A. Hayward of Portland; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 am Thursday at the Lindquist Funeral Home, 37 Portland St., Yarmouth with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Falmouth.)
