Deeds at Salem. Made his will in Mar 1716 which was proved in Apr 1716. His widow and brother John were made executors. By his will, his estate, valued at £509, and a negro slave valued at £40, was to go to his wife Judith, until their son Daniel became of age, she to care for his mother, Mary Poor Noyes.

"Old Newbury" p.19: In 1711 John Thorley (son of Francis) sold to Daniel Noyes 46 acres with a house which had belonged to his brother Jonathan. Daniel Noyes died five years later and willed this land to his son Joshua, with the provision that Thurlow [Thorley] and his wife should retain possession during life.

"Old Newbury" p.56: At the time of his death, his estate shows him to have owned 330 acres of land besides rights in the common and undivided lands of both Newbury and Rowley. Eighty six acres, south of the Parker River was bought of the Dummers. This passed to his son Joseph and the larger part of it was still in the family in 1912. Forty five acres east of Cart Creek bought of Thurlo, went to his son Joshua.
