- The couple lived in Landaff NH where they had 11 children. Samuel died Landaff 27 Feb. 1846, and Sarah (Collins) Noyes died there 4 June 1853. She is referred to by historians of the region-(Descendants of Chase Whitcher), (Some Things about Coventry-Benton), as "a good woman, whose family dates in New England from early times"--yet Mr. Whitcher, (author and historian) who was her grandson, knew nothing of her parentage. (The gravestone says she died 4 June 1853, aged 91)(Nov. 23, 1761 is close enough.) (The stone was erected by her grandchildren.)
