    Notes 
    • He was in Capt. Benjamin Emery's Co., Col. Nahum Baldwin's Regt., to reinforce Continental Army, in New York, 1776.

      Was a member of the 6th Co. of Vol. in Concord, 1814, which was composed of its most respectable inhabitants.

      He was an inn-keeper in Concord; the sign of his tavern was an Indian, said to represent "King Philip." It was presented to the N.H. Historical Society, by the late Mr. John Stickney, his son, and may be seen at the Society's rooms in Concord.

      He was owner of a share in the Concord Bridge, 1795.
