- (OBIT: Woodland - Thelma Hjulstrom, 79, beloved wife of the late Clifford N. Hjulstrom, died April 24, 1990, at a Caribou hospital after a long illness.
She was born at Limestone, June 29, 1910, the daughter of Hamilton and Jennie (Paul) Finnemore. She attended Limestone schools and was a graduate of Caribou High School. She was married to Clifford N. Hjulstrom. Together they lived, worked and raised their family on their Tibbetts Road farm. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Sweden.
She is survived by one son, Marlo Hjulstrom of Woodland; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Forsman of Somers, Conn.; two brothers, Waldo Finnemore and Lewis Finnemore both of Caribou; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Palmer of Fort Fairfield and Mrs. Hazel Paul of Lebanon, N.H.; five grandchildren, Wade Forsman of Dallas, Texas, Craig Hjulstrom of Woodland, Beverly Forsman of Somers, Conn., Valerie Boccaccio of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Darlene Doherty of Lubec; one great-grandson, Paul Boccaccio of Stone Mountain, Ga. She was predeceased by her husband on May 15, 1987.
Funeral services were held April 28, in the chapel of the Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, Caribou, with the Rev. Robert Torosian, pastor of the First Baptist Church of New Sweden, officiating. Pallbearers were Craig Hjulstrom, James Doherty, Wade Forsman and Scott Davis.)
